Garvestone Garden Room
Client Brief
Our customer wanted to create a space useable for the whole family. It will serve as craft room for the kids at one end and a home office at the other!
The space was previously home to an above-ground swimming pool which was not getting used. Building a garden room was the perfect opportunity to tidy up this wasted space.

Challenges & Solutions
-
Build time - 14 working days
-
We had to clear the site by removing an existing brick garden wall
-
Power for the septic tank overflow pump was taken from a socket on the brick wall, so we set up a temporary supply for the duration of the build and then wired the pump into a fused spur in garden room
-
No direct access to rear garden, had to take all materials through the garage and utility room. Put sheets down to protect carpet from muddy boots/wheelbarrows. Made a small ramp to clear the threshold of the back door
